Your relationship story is your own — some of this may still feel familiar
You’re having the same argument on repeat — and it never really resolves.
You feel more like roommates than partners.
One of you shuts down, the other pushes — and you both end up feeling alone.
The little resentments have quietly stacked up into distance.
You still love each other, but you’ve lost the way you used to connect.
You’re not sure whether you’re growing together or growing apart.
Reaching out isn’t a sign of failure — it’s a sign you both still care.
Support for whatever you’re navigating
Communication that keeps failing
The same fights, the misreadings, and conversations that turn into conflict.
Disconnection & distance
Feeling more like roommates than partners, and drifting quietly apart.
Trust, betrayal & repair
Rebuilding after an affair, a breach of trust, or old hurts that still linger.
Intimacy & desire
Reconnecting emotionally and physically when closeness has faded.
Recurring conflict cycles
The pursue-withdraw loop, escalation, and arguments that never quite land.
Change as a couple
Parenting, blended families, careers, and transitions that test the relationship.
A calm, structured space for both of you
Sessions are a steady space where both partners are heard. We slow down the cycles that keep repeating — and where something is causing harm, it’s named honestly and kindly, so change becomes possible, not just talk.
Erica draws on the Gottman Method — an evidence-based approach built on decades of research into what makes relationships work. It’s practical: real tools for communication, repair, and reconnection you can use between sessions.
Guided by evidence-based training
You’ll work with Erica Harris — a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) trained in trauma-informed care. She draws on a range of evidence-based approaches — Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, nervous-system regulation, the Gottman Method, Compassionate Inquiry, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, person-centred therapy, existential therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy — with additional training in Terry Real’s Relational Life Therapy to competently support couples.
Erica brings warmth and honesty. Both of you are heard — and where something is causing harm, it’s named directly and with care, so real change becomes possible.

We start by understanding your relationship and what you both hope for.

You’ll leave with real, usable ways to communicate, repair, and reconnect between sessions.
Accessible & virtual
Fully online across British Columbia and Ontario, with a sliding scale available for financial hardship.
Simple, transparent pricing
The 80-minute session gives more room to work things through, if that suits you. Sessions aren’t covered by MSP or OHIP, but many extended-health plans reimburse part or all of the fee. What if my partner won’t come?
Couples work is strongest with both partners, but you’re welcome to start on your own — sometimes one person beginning is what shifts things. We can talk it through on the free call.
What is the Gottman Method?
It’s an evidence-based approach built on decades of research into what makes relationships last. In practice, it means practical tools for communication, managing conflict, and rebuilding closeness.
Will you take sides?
Not for the sake of it — but this isn’t blanket neutrality either. Where something is causing harm, Erica will name it honestly and kindly (drawing on Terry Real’s approach), so you can move toward something healthier. Both of you will be heard.
Can it help if we’re thinking about separating?
Yes. Couples therapy can help you reconnect — or help you find clarity and part with respect. Whichever is right for you, you won’t be doing it alone.
Is what we share confidential?
Yes. Sessions are private and held on a secure platform, and never shared — within the limits set by law and professional ethics.
Every strong relationship is built, not found.
